Clara Kulemeyer (1992) is an Argentinian artist. She studied fashion design at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina and is currently completing the postgraduate study at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne.
The focus of her artistic work is on audiovisual-installative works that use photography as a starting point. She creates hybrid scenes by combining different media and searching for new forms of documentary narrative to reflect current dissonances or issues, such as seed policies or lithium mining. The process of digital alienation and decomposition is an inherent part of these narratives.
She lives and works in Cologne.
